Risks to people of homeless (houseless) communities in the Northridge, include fire risks, mold and mildew, landslides, exposure to diseased pests and rodents and a continued threat of violence. With a lack of access to Northridge infrastructure (e.g., shelter, stormwater management, water and sanitation systems, electricity, heating, trash services) immensely increases the homeless environmental danger exposure.
